2006 South Hill Fire Department Competition Team

South Hill VFD was the overall winner of the 51st Annual Southside Virginia Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Convention and Competition winning the
Gee – Tanner – Gee Memorial Award

In the days event, the South Hill VFD won the following:

• 1st Place One Man Hose

• 1st Place Two Man RIT

• 1st Place Tug – O – War

• 1st Place Bucket Brigade

• 2nd Place Six-Man Hose

• Best Equipped Pumper 1500GPM, and Over for Towns
